At Blankets of Love Outreach, our values are rooted in compassion, dignity, and solidarity with those experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. We believe that true strength comes not only from the words we speak but from the meaningful actions we take to support the homeless and low-income families in our community. Since our founding, we have remained committed to lifting up our neighbors in need through direct outreach, essential resources, and genuine human connection.

 

Our mission is to ensure that those living on the streets are treated with dignity by providing basic essentials, blankets, and a warm meal. In addition to assisting individuals experiencing homelessness, each year during the holidays Blankets of Love Outreach adopts several low-income families, providing them with clothing, toys, and other vital items.

 

We are a completely volunteer-driven organization and welcome both volunteers and donations to help support our work.

In 2026, Blankets of Love Outreach will proudly celebrate 20 years as a grassroots organization. Our goal for this milestone year is to secure office space or a building in Richmond, VA, allowing us to expand and enhance our services.
